Cartel Mexican bar and Grill is ready

for it's long awaited opening

 

Owners Joe Johnstone and Craig MacGregor have a strong love for providing excellent food and hospitality and Cartel Mexican bar and Grill is certainly not going to disappoint.

 

With a modern industrial fitout and a strong emphasis on using imported Mexican ingredients and beverages, we have created what we believe to be an exciting near authentic Mexican experience.

We have focused on a more traditional style of mexican food and stared away from the common tex mex styles that are widely found. With a local wine list and also a compliment of 10 spanish wines including Tempranillo's from rioja and also Toro along with Albarino's you will be sure to find something to go with your tasty dish.

 

We are open 7 days for Dinner from 4PM till late.

 

If it's beer you are after we have 10 mexican beers including mexican craft beers, 2 Garage project mexican style beers day of the dead and La Calavera along with some great lagers on tap and our very own Cartel ale.

 

The cocktails are also sure to be a hit, most of the list is understandably tequila based with 4 different margaritas, Paloma's and Mexican mules to name a few.

 

And if you love tequila than you will love this place, we have 28 tequila's on the menu with an assortment of silver/blanco, reposado, anejo and extra anejo's, You can even purchase a tasting tray for $25.
